Meet your new therapist: Real, Supportive, 100% you-centered
Jennifer Greenlee, LCSW
I have over a decade of experience working with teens, young adults, and adults, with a focus on supporting and healing through anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, trauma, and relationship issues.
Over the years, I’ve led and expanded mentoring programs in high schools, brought free mental health support directly into schools, and co-founded a nonprofit in South Atlanta that tackles the racial and educational inequities our city faces. I have extensive experience working with and advocating for youth experiencing homelessness, survivors of human trafficking and those at risk of, and highly vulnerable populations, including LGBTQIA+ youth and people experiencing poverty.
At the core of my work is a deep passion for social justice and equipping young people and adults with the skills and tools they need to feel confident—especially when life inevitably gets messy.
Through it all, I’ve found my purpose in supporting people during the in-between—the messy, uncertain spaces where things are shifting, and life doesn’t look the way you thought it would. Maybe it’s a season of transition, a sudden loss, or the weight of feeling like you have to have it all figured out (while keeping everyone else happy). I’m here to help you process the hard stuff: trauma, grief, anxiety, and the overwhelming pressure to hold it all together.
One conversation, one step, one breakthrough at a time.
Beyond therapy, I love to read, spoil my pets, attempt various arts and crafts, and travel, travel, travel. I am a firm believer in experiencing as much of this wild, beautiful world as possible. I’ve been to 16 countries (so far!), and nothing makes me happier than wandering through food markets, meeting locals, and soaking in different cultures.
I am passionate about helping people figure out what their version of happiness looks like, and then, how to build a life around it.
Let’s grow through what you go through - together.

ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATES & EXPERTISE
Beyond my work as a therapist, I bring a range of skills and experience that reflect my commitment to supporting people and communities in meaningful ways. I am especially passionate about prevention and early intervention training for teens and young adults. If something here sparks your interest, reach out! I’d love to connect and see how I can help.
Love146 Not a Number Certified Facilitator: I’m trained to deliver Not a Number, an interactive child trafficking and exploitation prevention curriculum from Love146. This program gives young people practical information and skills to help them stay safe and make empowered choices. If you’re looking to bring this impactful training to your school, youth program, community group, or agency, let’s talk. It’s a powerful resource for schools, juvenile justice programs, child welfare, and beyond.
National Speaker: I’ve had the honor of presenting at conferences like the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY), College Connections for Student Success, and EMBARK. I’m always open to opportunities to speak on topics I’m passionate about—mental health, youth empowerment, and more. If you’re looking for a speaker who brings both expertise and heart, let’s connect.
Social Media Management for Nonprofits: I get grassroots work because I’ve been in it. I have years of experience creating and managing social media for small nonprofits—helping organizations find their voice, tell their story, and connect with their communities in authentic ways. Whether you’re starting from scratch, need someone to run your pages, or want me to train your team on the basics, I’m here for it. Reach out and let’s chat!
This practice is rooted in social justice, accountability, and respect, because you deserve a space that feels safe, supportive, and real.
I’m committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other marginalized communities. I honor the complexity of intersectionality and recognize how overlapping identities and systemic barriers can shape your experiences and impact mental health.
I’m dedicated to learning, unlearning, and showing up in ways that center your truth and experiences.
And when I miss the mark, I welcome being called in. Your voice matters here.
